BCI Helps Make Technology Accessible
A member of our team sits on the board of trustees for Japhet School, which is an pre-K through 8th grade independent school that integrates a character education with a strong academic program. This year the middle school service project is to collect unused electronics and have them repurposed for use in communities that struggle to afford electronic devices. They have partnered with the Detroit-based nonprofit Human-I-T for this year’s effort.
Here at Bridging Communities we recently updated much of our technology to accommodate the need for team members to work remotely. We were happy to to be able to share our older models with the kids at Japhet School, and happy to have them come out for a photo op as we made our donation.
