Bridging Communities, Inc. is seeking qualified contractors to perform renovations at 6900 McGraw Ave. Detroit, Michigan 48210. Work includes but not limited to the following: • Visit site to review existing conditions and develop scope for new ADA accommodations • Front entrance walkway railings • Electrical wiring for external and internal automated buttons • Automatic doors • Identify, replace and remove exposed electrical wires • Permits and fees
Contractors desiring to bid shall demonstrate the following qualifications: - At least 5 years’ experience in their relative trade - licensed as required by state and/or local law Insurance: General Liability and Auto Liability with Bridging Communities, Inc. and The City of Detroit named as Additional Insured.

Workman's compensation insurance is also required.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting and examination of the premises will take place at the project site 6900 McGraw Ave. Detroit, MI 48210 on February 7, 2025 12pm-1pm.
Sealed bids will be accepted from 9:00am-5:00pm February 3, 2025-February 27, 2025 at 6900 McGraw Ave. Detroit, MI 48210.

No bids will be accepted after this time.
All bids must be submitted by trade and line item.
All bids will be publicly opened on
February 28, 2025 12pm-1pm at 6900 McGraw Ave. Detroit, MI 48210.

All interested parties are invited to attend. Bridging Communities, Inc.
will award a contract to the lowest, most responsive and responsible bidder -
however, BCI reserves the right to waive any irregularity in any bid or to reject any or all bids should it be deemed for its best interest.
The contracts will be executed under the Public Facility Rehabilitation Agreement administered by the City of Detroit Housing and Revitalization Department.

The successful contractor(s) will be required to comply with all applicable federal laws including equal employment opportunity and will have to be cleared and approved by the City of Detroit. Bidders are required to furnish a bid guarantee equal to (5%) of their bid.
The Bid guarantee shall be in the form of either a bid bond or a certified check, made out to Bridging Communities, Inc.
The successful bidder is also required to furnish payment (Labor and Materials) and performance bonds in the amount covering the faithful performance of the contract and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder, in the amount of 100% of their contracts, executed by a surety, which is licensed to do business in the State of Michigan.

Bridging Communities invites qualified vendors to submit quotes for the supply, delivery, and training of air quality monitoring and filtration systems for the SW Detroit Clean Air for Seniors Initiative. 

This initiative aims to enhance indoor air quality (IAQ) for senior residents in the 48217 and surrounding areas of SW Detroit.

Scope of Work:

The selected vendor will be responsible for the following:

1. Supply

EnviroKlenz SMART Cube™ Air Monitor & Filtration System – 125 units

EnviroKlenz SMART Cube™ Replacement Filters – 375 units

IAQ eLearning Devices & App Platform

2. Delivery

Deliver the above-listed equipment to 125 pre-selected homes across the 48217 and surrounding areas.

3. Training and Support

Provide training for Bridging Communities staff, partnering organizations, and participating residents on system installation, operation, maintenance, and accessing the SMART Science™ dashboard.

Configure the SMART Science™ Dashboard for real-time IAQ monitoring.

Specifications:

All equipment must meet the specifications outlined in the attached document. Deviations from these specifications must be explicitly detailed and submitted for approval prior to submission.

Key specifications include:

EnviroKlenz SMART Cube™ Model ED327-0250-SMRT, covering 1,000 sq. ft., operating at 115V/60Hz, equipped with patented FAST-ACT technology and cloud-based reporting dashboard.

Independent IAQ Monitor tracking PM1.0, PM2.5, VOCs, CO2, temperature, and humidity.

H13 HEPA filtration with a 99.95% efficiency rating.

Submission Guidelines:

All submissions must be received no later than 5:00 PM EST on February 5, 2025.

Late submissions will not be considered.

Include detailed pricing, warranty information, and a timeline for delivery.

Vendors are encouraged to provide references for similar projects completed within the last three years.
