Volunteer

With a combination of support across metro Detroit, volunteers serve our seniors in a special way. Whether it’s transporting them to doctor’s appointments or delivering sweets on Sweetest Day, our volunteers help to share the love with seniors in the Southwest Detroit area community. We invite you, your friends, and other group affiliations to come support our work assisting seniors.

We continue to seek innovative ways to engage with our volunteers, our clients, and our community. Bridging Communities Inc., is the host of the Unity in Our Community TimeBank where volunteer hours are tracked and can be exchanged for services that the volunteer may need.  With the Timebank, volunteers can help those who need help and, perhaps, have opportunities to obtain help.  It’s a great exchange that allows volunteers to get something back for the time they give to others.  For more information about the Unity in Our Community Timebank, visit   www.southwestdetroittimebank.org
