Resource Fair and Back to School Event
- This annual outdoor movies series is held in the park located directly behind our office. The events are planned and executed by our youth group, who spend several months grant writing, marketing, booking talent, and doing community outreach. These events are free to the entire community! Each night includes food, fun, and entertainment, as well as a theme that highlights and celebrates our multicultural community.
- On the final movie night we start the day with a huge resource fair that consists of dozens of vendors, giveaways, resources for people of all ages, free school supplies (provided by the Chadsey Condon Community Organization), free face painting, henna tattoos, balloon animals, ice cream, and other activities.
Money raised for this event funds our youth group and other intergenerational activities and programming. We strongly believe it takes a village to care for a senior, so we work to create opportunities for different generations to come together, help to dispel myths, and encourage healthy and supportive intergenerational relationships within the community
Join us for our 7th annual outdoor movie series including local talent performances, cultural foods, and intergenerational fun! Food and fun begin at 7pm, movie begins at dusk.
Don’t forget to bring a blanket or chair to sit on and a cooler of your favorite non-alcohalic beverages!
Dates of events listed below, theme and movie still to be determined
