When It’s Time to Move as a Service Provider one aspect of the job is getting clients to recognize when it’s time to move to the next phase in their life. Oftentimes, that mean moving out of their comfort zone which is no longer safe but to a much-secured home such as assisted living or long-term care facility. Although this chapter can be very challenging at times this particular one has been very rewarding. I saw this particular person looking very weak when she was admitted to the hospital, then transferred to rehabilitation and finally to long-term care. After walking side by side with her through this process along with the guidance of Elder Law Attorneys that specializes in Medicaid Spenddown. I could actually see the stress lift off her shoulder. She’s now getting the awesome care that she deserves. I gave her and her roommate one of our Remembrance Baskets for Valentine’s Day and both of them was so overjoyed.
